Dawson’s Dis & Dat is a one woman-owned and operated shop selling handmade products. I carefully procure natural items like shells, stones, semi-precious stones, glass, wood and driftwood, etc. I also use manmade things such as keys, wire, and jewelry findings to create unique jewelry and other decorative pieces.

Crafted to Perfection
All my products are made with quality and inspiration, and I focus on handcrafting each piece to perfection. However as I use many natural products there are imperfections. When I create two or more of the same thing I try to get the closes match as possible. My 6 years of experience creating fine handmade jewelry provided the training I needed to design my collections today.

I started building my business back in 2016 and have actively worked on new designs for my products. At present, I absolutely love two things, buying crafting supplies and building crafts. I work from this shop in the rolling hills area of the Eastern part of Texas.

So much to do and so little time to do it!
Something about my life, places I have seen, things I have done.
I was born in East Texas but my daddy was in the U.S Air Force. At that time, he was in the meteorology squadron. He flew in the first hurricane hunter that was geared up with equipment to study the eye of a hurricane. Because of this I have lived in Maine, Florida, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Washington state and Texas. I have two brothers who were born on Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, LA.
I still traveled after daddy got out for the Air Force. I went to high school in Louisiana but graduated in a very small town in Oregon. Then after school I worked on shrimp boats. I have traveled from Anchorage, Alaska and to the mouth of the Amazon River. I have visited Devils Island, lived in two countries in South America and on the island of Trinidad & Tobago.
And in spite of all that travel I came back to the rolling hills of East Texas where I live in the peace and quiet of the piney woods to produce my artistic creations.

Once item is purchased, no refunds are accepted. This is due to cost of materials and other expenses as each piece are planned, designed, crafted and purchased to meet any deadline set. Nothing in nature is has a exact duplicate. Handmade items, by nature, have natural and unique imperfections. All my products are handcrafted one at a time, making it infrequent to create identical items.
